Leaving DeviantArt
I've been a member of DeviantArt for a very very long time. It says 6 years but I've definitely been on here lurking for over 10! As you may (or may not) have noticed, I'm no longer active here. Mainly because I feel the interface and community spirit has declined, but also because I feel like I've moved on from the platform. I will still post pictures from time to time (and I won't delete any of my work!) but please do not make any effort to contact me over here. Don't worry, I'm still creating art and post everyday on other social media platforms! You can follow/contact me through any of the sites below. I hope to see you there!

Misleading Instagram Models
RANT. Okay, I'm going there, I'm doing this, even though I don't usually post personal opinion on here but I'm so mad.
An Instagram model with over 1 million followers has recently started endorsing shampoo and conditioner by the brand Tresemme. She has stated in her posts that Tresemme 'do NOT test their products on animals and are committed to ending animal testing.'
THAT IS NOT CORRECT.
I am so MAD about this. Not because the company uses animal testing (though of course that sucks, but not what I'm debating here) but because the model is either being misled by the company, who is also purposely misleading people, or she's lying to OVER O
How Disney Effects People's Lives
It's only as I grow older that I appreciate how each individual Disney character influences and shapes people's lives. It's actually a huge responsibility resting on Disney's shoulders. It's important. They are shaping the way kids think and treat people and view others that will effect them way into adulthood.
This is the comment I chose to win my giveaway:
'I relate to Elsa so much it hurts. My little sis is exactly like Anna and I've always tried to protect her and make sure she's safe, even though I don't show how much I love her the way I should. To me, Elsa means knowing how to love yourself and how to come to terms with your flaws, al

Zombies!..ZOMBIES!?!...AAAARGH!
Okay , now that's out of my system in this hypothetical situation time to survive...
1. When things go icky people go nuts so get as far from people you don't know as possible, holing up in town, city, or suburbia leaves you open to mass zombies, looters and reavers.
2. Mobile phones are pointless as most countries turn off the network in the first instance of an incident, a beat up old transit van is better than the fastest modern car...some idiot is going to think the 'nuclear option' would be the solution and there go the electronic components of your vehicle.
3. Their is safety in numbers, but as in point 1. be sure they are people you can rely on...mates can be great or they can be more trouble than they are worth (See Shaun of the dead).
4. Weapons...Zombies: a heavy iron shovel to decapitate the shambling individuals, a good pair of running shoes to escape larger groups.
Humans: Within 24 hours a large proportion of the populous will revert to a feral mentality so crossbows and longbows are primary (arrows are easier to fashion than bullets), a rifle (better to take out an aggressor at range than let them get close) and shot gun (point and click).
Books: The most important weapon for survival is knowledge...How does one build a fortified settlement, create a kiln, bread oven, arable system?...Time to get Medaeval
And so on...
...nope haven't spent much time thinking about this stuff I'm just a product of the 'Threads', 'Terry Nation's Survivors', 'Quatermass Conclusion' M.A.D. generation. Haha
