Commissions: CLOSED

Journal Entry: Tue Dec 3, 2013, 2:53 AM

For a limited time during December and the New Year I’m opening my commission slots. Here’s all the info:

:boing:How much is it going to cost me?:boing:

:bulletred:Portrait:bulletred:
(I.e face and shoulders)
Digital Bust : £15
Watercolour Bust: £20
Examples:
February: Esmeralda by Hannah-Alexander Vampire Queen by Hannah-Alexander

:bulletblue:Full Body:bulletblue:
Digital: £25
Watercolour: £30
Examples:
A Moment by Hannah-Alexander Mother Of Dragons by Hannah-Alexander

:bulletpurple:There is an extra charge for adding a background. The price will vary depending on the intricacy of the background but the starting cost is £5. :bulletpurple:

:bulletorange:Small additional features such as flowers and accessories can be free of charge, depending on desired intricacy. Additional characters will be an extra 40% of the cost, minus background charges. E.g, if you wanted a Digital Portrait featuring two people it would be £15 + £6 (40% of £15):bulletorange:

:boing:How do I pay?:boing:
It’s a little different to the normal procedure. Once you’ve decided what you want and we’ve agreed on a price, I’ll create your own personal item listing in my Etsy store which you can purchase using paypal, credit card or Etsy vouchers. I believe Etsy may take Debit cards too. Why Etsy? It’s good for both parties: purchasing on Etsy makes the exchange legally binding, the money goes straight to my accounts and I legally have to give you a product. It also means I can keep track of my orders and you can pay using methods other than paypal. You’ll need to register with Etsy, but it takes a whole three seconds and they don’t ask for anything more than a username and your email. That’s it.

:boing:How will I receive my item?:boing:
If it’s digital I’ll send you the file. If it’s watercolour you’ll receive the original painting via tracked postage. Once you have paid for the item you’ll own full rights of it.

:boing:When will my painting be finished?:boing:
Between 1-6 weeks, depending on whether it’s digital or watercolour. I tend to finish watercolour paintings a lot faster than digital! I’ll work on the paintings on a first come first serve basis. Please keep in mind that I work full time as a vet nurse and my weekends are spent away from home! Of course, I will be dedicating my spare time to completing commissions.

:boing:Can I make any changes to the piece once it’s done?:boing:
No. Once I’ve sketched out the initial idea, before I ink lines/scan it into photoshop, I’ll send you a preview via email. It can be tweaked then. Once it’s finished, I won’t make any changes.

:boing:If I don’t like the finished piece can I get a refund?:boing:
No. I’ll do my upmost to create a piece of art in my style that you’ll love, so I hope very much that you’ll be happy with the end result!

:boing:Is there anything you won’t draw?:boing:
I’m open to most things, but keep in mind what I specialise in. If you ask me to illustrate a spaceship in an industrial landscape don’t be surprised if I fall short of the mark!

:boing:I totally want a piece of the action! What do I do now?:boing:
Note me, bro!

Drop any questions in the comment box below. I’ll announce when my commissions are closed.
