Just letting everyone know that I'll be changing my username from LadyAdler to Hannah-Alexander .

LadyAdler was one of those impulsive names I chose at about the same time the first Sherlock Holmes movie came out. I didn't even like it that much. It holds no relevance to me as an artist nor does it have any nostalgic value. Even though illustrating is just a fun past time for me I feel that using my name is more professional and grown up. Generally I go by my name or the name of my Etsy store, Neverbird Designs, around the internetz anyway.

Just thought I'd let everyone know to avoid confusion! It will be changed in a couple of days :) You wont need to re-watch me or anything like that. If you type in my old username you'll be redirected to my new one automatically.

I think it's cool dA finally added the option to change your username. Over the years I've seen many artists complain about it. Some even create entirely new accounts just because they're sick of their old name.

BY THE WAY. You know when you've favourited an awesome, inspiring piece of work and then you go back to look at it in all it's beauty and you get: 'THIS DEVIATION IS IN STORAGE.' That really pisses me off. BUT. Does that mean it's just gone into the artist's scraps?? It only occurred to me today that that's what might be happening. If it's been entirely removed that kinda annoys me. Just because you, as the artist, are unhappy with some of your old work shouldn't mean it should be removed from your gallery completely, because OTHER people might still enjoy it. Same with fanfiction. It crushes me when some of my favourite fanfiction that's been around for years gets removed by the author. It doesn't hurt anyone by keeping it online! I just don't get it.

I completely agree about the whole putting deviations into storage. That really, really annoys me.
