Art Nouveau Redesigns: Final Fantasy Girls

PLEASE READ These are the only girls I'm doing. I don't like any of the others. I will however be doing Quick Designs of Rikku and Tifa on my YouTube Channel</acronym>. I am doing the boys at some point as well. You are welcome to cosplay these designs, so long as you post credit. Construction Notes

Terra: She was added by request but I enjoyed designing her so much! I wanted to keep in the clash of patterns, yet in a toned down way. The hood piece is separate to the cape, which is silk chiffon and attached to the shoulders by lace. The flowers at the hem are chiffon. The underskirt is lace. The embroidery is gold thread.

Aeris: Yeess this is my first cosplay project, it's taking forever ;___; The top is covered in chiffon flowers and trimmed with gold bias binding. The belt and arm cuffs are gold worbla with gems. Her skirt is intended to be many layers of chiffon (however for mine I've used layers of thin voile as I couldn't afford all that silk chiffon *__* )

Rinoa: I wanted her design to be a nod to both her original outfit and her sorceress side. Like.... maybe she would wear this is she was a sorceress? SO I included her her trademark feathers (which are also present on the other sorceress designs in the game), and was inspired by Swan Lake costumes for her headpiece. I would use layers of voile for her dress, which is also trimmed with feathers (Please source feathers responsibility )

Garnet: I combined 3 of her outfits here!! Her mage coat, her orange jumpsuit and her princess gown. The rest of her design is pretty self explanatory I think!

Yuna: I also combined 2 of her outfits here, from FFX and FFX-2. The top piece is a hood attached to the bodice, which has slitted sleeves. The embroidery covering the main bodice is a ton of heavily embroidered appliqué inspired by the flower which was originally on the obi of her FFX design. The skirt has 3 layers, ala the skirt in FFX-2. The obi is trimmed with heavy purple rope (hot glue gun ftw).

Lightning: She was a challenge! I didn't want to include her because I'm not a fan of the game but people kicked the flip off so I was like okaaaay. I love designing armour anyways. So I combined her FF13 and FF: Lightning Returns outfits.  There's metallic worbla (or leather) scales on her bodice and shoulder pieces. She also sports slit sleeves that are heavily lined with red fabric, same as her side skirt which attaches onto panels which could be either stiffened fabric or worbla. Belt is layered fabric into that braid design. The symbol on the side of her skirt is the general 'Lightning' symbol that she wears in game. Aaaand there's just general silver painted worbla armour here and there ^__^
